COVID-19 Updates

Special Notices are listed here, with the most recent appearing first. We’d like to thank our loyal customers and exceptional employees for working together to keep each other safe as we continue to navigate the changing landscape of COVID-19.

UPDATE: 04/20/23

We would like to first and foremost acknowledge our wonderful customers. We appreciate your continued support throughout the COVID pandemic.

As the pandemic and its associated guidelines wind down and the world returns to normalcy, we would like to update you on our continued safety protocols.

Due to the nature of our work, with close proximity to the personal space of vehicle interiors, we continue to wear masks, use protective seat coverings and participate in rigorous hygiene practices while servicing your vehicles. This is for the safety of all our customers, as well as our dedicated and valued employees. Because we cannot know which of our customers, employees or their extended loved ones are still at risk of serious health complications from coronavirus, we have decided to err on the side of caution and maintain strict standards. As such, we additionally ask that all customers wear a mask when entering our establishment or when interacting with employees. We are grateful for your cooperation in this matter.

03/18/20:

A message to our friends & loyal customers: We are open for business!

As of March 18, 2020, there have been no State restrictions made on our industry, so in following the guidelines of the CDC and using common sense, we are taking every precaution available to us in our effort to control the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. We are practicing additional handwashing and our mechanics are using disposable gloves. We have plastic seat covers to protect both our customers & employees. We’re using antibacterial wipes on every door handle in our shop, as well as the door handles & steering wheels of every vehicle brought in for service. Additionally, we are practicing social distancing as much as possible and so have also removed our community candy dish for the foreseeable future.

We hope that you will also consider our employees when you bring your car in for service: please schedule for a later date if you are currently experience any flu-like symptoms; remove any non-essential items from your vehicle. At this time, please do not expect to wait in our shop for your vehicle’s service to be completed.

This is a very trying time for the whole country, but the best way through is to rely on our neighbors and friends for whatever support we need. If there is anything with which you need assistance, please feel free to give us a call.

Be well,

Bill & Toni Church and the Carlos Auto Service Staff
